About the Role:
As a Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of care services. Working closely with the management team and the Registered Manager, you will help ensure the delivery of outstanding care to service users. Your responsibilities will include scheduling care workers, maintaining accurate records, recruiting care workers, and contributing to the development and growth of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of care management.
- Promote and develop new areas of service provision.
- Recruit and match care workers to service users effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and schedules.
- Provide support and supervision to care workers.
- Manage on-call duties as needed.
- Handle any issues that arise between care workers and service users.
What We’re Looking For:
- A self-motivated, organized, and flexible individual.
- A caring attitude with sensitivity to the needs of others.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in community care legislation and care plan implementation.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive approach to handling emergencies and responsibility.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ2/3 in Care.
- A driving licence and access to a car.
